This case studies follows up on the understanding of customary land rights in 3 target villages of MCC in Xiengkhuang and the impact of the LIFE and MCC trainings on the understanding of the relevant law articles and the use of this knowledge at village level.
this newsletter, highlight activities from last three months are presented: Legal Calendar 2022 development taskforce; Community of Practice on Women Land Rights; LIWG advocacy plan: influencing better policy and legislation in the land sector in Laos; Digital Security training. We also presented the meeting of LSSWG and Key activities of LIFE project and members.
This topic aims to raise awareness the public to access and use information properly especially the safe use of chemicals in the cultivation. It’s essential for all parties such as investors, project owners, and public to have obligation on the chemical use to ensure there is no harm to the environment and the health of the people.

This topic aims to build the awareness on the importance of community's participation in the meaningful decision-making on land use allocation, forestland use planning and forest products management.
Key highlights of this issue are about series of online sessions on the new Land Law and Forestry Law, a sharing good practice of members of their work with community in the province, online coaching on Conflict Resolution to a partner’s organization by LIFE project and key activities from LIWG's member and partner on customary land right recognition.
