The draft of amended Land Law of 2019 shows improvements to previous drafts, however there are some elements of concern remain, so the Land Law Advisory Group presented 7 recommendations as briefing notes to the draft amended Land Law

Chinese investors are planing to invest in Xaysomboun province for 3 big projects: mining sector, agribusiness and industrial tourism.

National Assembly members supported the amendment of the land law but expressed concerns about the continuing loss of state lands and conversion of agricultural land into other classifications.

A contract is the agreement between two parties which means two parties agrees on what rights includes in the agreement, what should be changed and the end of the contract. The contract is very important for two parties because the contract can protect the rights and benefit that both agree on. It's also important for conflict resolution when dispute occurs.
