LIWG Secretariat, are happy to share with you our 21th LIWG Newsletter covering activities from October to December 2024. In this newsletter, we present activities implemented by the secretariat, its members and its network related to land advocacy, natural resource protection, and the promotion of human rights related to land and natural resource tenures.

This Digital Legal Aid was produced to be a user-friendly digital legal aid platform by providing guideline for both service providers and users, as well as introduction video for simple steps on access and choices for seeking for legal assistance.

This report specifically details the differences between the newly promulgated Land Law and Forestry Law and their predecessor laws, the Land Law 2003 and the Forestry Law 2007, respectively, noting both their improvements and shortcomings.

This video tells about the importance and its impacts to local communities on access to information on laws and regulations in the areas of land and natural resources.
