    LIWG is organizing the Inception Meeting related to the study on Women Land Rights in Laos on Tuesday 10 September 2019 from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm in Vientiane, Laos

    This meeting will aim at:

    1. Introducing the team, present the TOR and the tools for the research in the morning and,
    2. Having a focus group discussion in the afternoon where the following questions will be discussed
      - Which activity/study are LIWG members implemented, or supported projects, focusing on gender equity, women's property rights, land rights, PLUP/LA ?
      - What kind of support do you provide to district/village women to participate in land management?
      - Findings and Observations on: Socio-cultural barriers in accessing women's rights over land.
      - Findings and Observations on: Legal and administrative barriers in accessing women's rights over land.
      Do you think it is important for women to have land registered in their names. Why?
