After successfully completing the initial phase of awareness-raising and land law dissemination, the project has begun developing case studies. Expert consultants were assigned to gather data directly from the people at the grassroots level in each target village.
To this end, from August 28-29, 2025, the consultant team, the Inspection Committee (IMC), project staff, and local association representatives jointly collected data in two target villages of Mad District, Vientiane Province. This effort aims to create case studies that measure the effectiveness of past activities. It will assess how much legal knowledge on land and natural resources the community has absorbed, which is essential for them to confidently handle future disputes and understand their rights and duties. Furthermore, these findings will serve as a critical indicator and guide for planning the project's next phase, ensuring it continues to address the community's real needs.
The project's impact was echoed by villagers, who shared, "After the training, we clearly understood that we women also have the right to have our names on land titles. This is a crucial long-term benefit, granting all women in the village a voice in important matters.
